A physician should not be heading the Ombudsman’s Office

     To reinforce that position of MK German regarding this subject, I would like to point out the the Secretary of Health himself, Litzman, 

     appointed a Director of the Dept. who was NOT a physician because he did NOT want the Power of the “Guild” to rule his Dept. So, 

     why should I want an Ombudsman who is a physician ? 

     My beloved Mother was murdered, she was not a victim of negligence. She had a stroke. I had to fight against a bureaucratic system 

     for 5 years dealing with rehabilitation centers, hospitals, clinics and I am alone with a sick father on top of it. Each is another obstacle 

     to overcome. A special committee team meets you with the family and goes on like a robot, abusing and humiliating the family. That’s 

     what is happening. Physicians are arrogant, disrespectful, they cover-up,… When she was hospitalized and about to be discharged, 

     I suggested a few medical tests. The Head of the Dept told me: “You will not tell me what to do, you will not talk to me,…” So, I was 

     compelled to seek the opinion of Prof Galia Lahav at my own expense. She gave me a list of recommendations that the Dept ignored. 

     Had they followed my suggestions and her recommendations maybe my mother would still be alive today. 

     My mother asked for help all night, she screamed till her last breath,… and no one came to check her ! 

     NO ONE was aware of the fact that she died till the morning !
